Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Shadow Protocol mobile game (“the Game”). By using the Game, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Information We Process

The Game stores gameplay progress, discovered endings, and audio preferences locally on your device. This local data is used only to save your game and settings and is not uploaded to an account operated by us.

The Game may request permission under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. If you grant permission, an advertising identifier (IDFA) may be available to advertising and security partners. If you deny permission, the Game will not access the IDFA, although partners may still process limited device, network, advertising, and diagnostic data as permitted by Apple and applicable law.

2. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The Game may use Chartboost, Yandex Mobile Ads, Liftoff/Vungle, and InMobi to request and display rewarded advertisements. Depending on availability, consent, device settings, and applicable law, these providers may process information such as:

• device and advertising identifiers, including IDFA or vendor identifiers;
• IP address, approximate location derived from IP, language, device model, operating system, and network information;
• ad requests, impressions, clicks, reward completion, and other interactions;
• diagnostic, performance, fraud-prevention, and security information.

3. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to operate and save the Game, deliver and measure advertisements, provide rewards, limit repeated ads, detect fraud or security incidents, diagnose technical issues, comply with law, and improve service reliability.

4. Sharing and International Processing

We do not sell information that you submit directly to us. Advertising and security providers may process or disclose information to their affiliates, service providers, measurement partners, and authorities as described in their policies. Their processing may occur in countries other than the country where you live, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention and Control

Local game data remains on your device until you clear the Game’s data or delete the Game. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings, reset or restrict advertising identifiers through device settings, and avoid requesting optional rewarded advertisements.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To make a request concerning information controlled by us, email 508923216@qq.com. For information controlled by an advertising provider, contact that provider through its privacy notice. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required by law.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age in the applicable jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Game, our partners, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
